MACNISSI’S DAILY MASS: We regret that daily Mass in St. MacNissi’s has been cancelled for the immediate future as Fr Paul is in hospital. SILVER JUBILEE OF THE EPISCOPAL ORDINATION OF BISHOP WALSH AND BISHOP FARQUHAR: Mass, presided over by Cardinal Daly, will be celebrated in the Cathedral on Sunday 18th May at 3.00pm. CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION from the Dominican Convent, Falls Road to the Cathedral will take place on Sunday 25th May at 3pm. PARISH YOUTH GROUP: A weekly group for young people aged 14-18 Sunday evenings at 7pm in the meeting room of St. Bernard’s church. Come along to learn more about your faith, meet new people and have fun! WORLD YOUTH DAY 2008: Up to one million young people travelling to Australia to celebrate their faith, meet the Pope and have a once in a lifetime experience! Want to be part of it? We leave Dublin on 7th July to fly to Brisbane. After 5 days in Brisbane we fly to Sydney for the main World Youth Day event. A MOTHERS’ PRAYERS GROUP meets every Tuesday morning after 10a.m. Mass in St. Bernard’s church meeting room. The prayer group will last for one hour – all mothers, grandmothers, aunts, spiritual mothers etc are welcome to come and pray for their children. CHILDREN’S LITURGY has resumed at 1 o’clock Mass. We would remind all parents wishing to send their children to this liturgy that ALL children attending MUST be registered – forms will be available in the porch of the church or ask one of the leaders.
THE WELCOME ORGANISATION works with some of the most vulnerable people in our society that is those who sleep on the streets. They have addictions, mental health issues and many sad stories. The collection today is for very basic essentials i.e. food; clothing; bedding. There but for the grace of God go I. EXPOSITION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT continues each day from 9am – 6pm in St. Bernard’s Church.. REVERENCE IN CHURCH: Please remember to show respect at all times to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Christ is present before and after Mass, and at all times in the Tabernacle. Please refrain from chatting and switch off your mobile!
